how we realise your R&D tax credit benefits

Initial meeting to understand and confirm that you are eligible to make a claim and provide an indication of what your claim might be worth. We will also explain the essential requirements of the scheme and establish all points of contact – technical and financial. Discuss and agree Zebec Consultancy’s terms and conditions and establish that we can work together.

Immediately after initial contact, we will begin the process of sending you our proposal and draft contract.

On agreement on a contract to proceed:-

  • We contact your technical team to start gathering all necessary technical information

Once we have gathered sufficient technical data we then:-

  • Contact your financial representative to start our trawl of the supporting financial information

These two activities can be carried out in tandem and on average take from two to three weeks to complete, subject also to client availability

This part of the process generally takes up to two weeks. On completion the final package will be ready to be submitted to HMRTC, This will include the both technical and financial aspects to be submitted together with your CT600.

On average, HMRC pay out all claims within 28 days of receipt of a duly completed CT600 and legitimate R&D Tax Claim Report
